INVISIBLE THREAD - RIVERBANK ARTS CENTRE, NEWBRIDGE,
Sept.15th - Oct.19th 2012
Sadie met five families in July 2012 who all have a child with Down Syndrome. During a six week period we found ways to communicate their individual experiences.
Some of the work untaken by the families took the form of doodling which formed a significant part of the process as well as the final exhibition. The families artwork formed the bulk of the show but Sadie was also asked to do illustrations in response to her interaction with them.
